A revolution is coming.
When a nation has been suppressed and oppressed for so long, they are forced to make their voices heard in order to be liberated from the bondage of poverty or suffering. I grew up listening to stories of my grandparents about how things were during Franco’s dictatorship back in Spain when people lived with fear on every corner like it was something that would never end; yet there were small pockets of resistance all over the country because some believed deep inside that one day we will win this battle. As much as I loved hearing these tales from history – ones where ordinary citizens did extraordinary things – what worries me now is that before our generation experienced such similar circumstances, revolutions have come and gone but those who suffered got nothing more than the opportunity to keep on suffering.
