Best is always trying out new jokes with his followers; it’s never a dull day on his Twitter feed! One of my personal favorites was when he tweeted: “I asked God what’s up with these earthquakes but He just kept playing this game called “Dominos”–Don Best (@dondonbest) April 18th 2011
He’s really good at getting people hyped up for the games, too! One of my favorite tweets is: “It’s not a game if you don’t play to win–Don Best (@dondonbest) April 18th 2011
He also has some advice for people who want to work in sports media. He says “if at first you’re unsuccessful, try again.” Especially when it comes to his own career and working hard! I really admire that about him because he never gives up on himself or what he wants. -I love how much personality Don best manages to have without ever being offensive; all jokes are still clean and family friendly which makes this perfect for sharing with kids. His sense of humor just makes me happy :)

I think Don Best’s personality is so fun to watch because he always seems like he has a real good time. That not only makes me happy but I also think it helps make the game more enjoyable for everyone!
He’s really welcoming and you can tell that just by watching his tweets–even if its about something depressing, they’re still written in such a way as to be humorous. This blog post was one of my favorites from him: “i’m sorry i don’t mean what i say.” -It made me laugh out loud for sure; especially when paired with this photo taken at an Ohio State vs Indiana basketball game. It showed up on my Twitter feed during halftime while I was watching the game and I really liked it.
He’s a complete goofball who makes me want to be goofy too! He’s even got his own hashtag: #donbestmemes :) It just shows you how kindhearted he is as well–he enjoys making people laugh, not mocking them or trying to hurt their feelings. That said, there are still some tweets that make me cringe because they’re so cringeworthy . Yikes :(
New sentence here* -I think Don Best has been such an amazing addition to ESPN for all of these reasons. When more social media savvy personalities like him get picked up by big networks, it opens opportunities for other athletes on lower levels of fame (like myself, I’m just starting out) to have a voice.
I also think it’s great that he is so in touch with his fans on social media because of the many different platforms he uses–Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and more. His transparency about his life really inspires me as an athlete who wants to stay connected with my followers. Plus, if you want some hilarious tweets retweeted by him (he retweets funny ones ALL THE TIME), then you can follow him @donbestespn!
New sentence here* -It was such a pleasure interviewing Don Best for this blog post and hearing all about his ESPN journey thus far. It seems like there are partnerships being set up left and right since he joined the network, and I have no doubt that this is just the beginning for him.

New sentence here* -As someone who has dreamed about being on television for as long as they can remember, it was really interesting hearing how much he loves what he does every day. He said when you love your job this much than there are days in which “it feels like Christmas.” It sounds like a pretty awesome feeling!

When asked about advice for others hoping to follow their own passions–stay positive, don’t regret any decisions that led up to this point (even if some were tough), keep asking yourself “why not me?”
“Breaking: Don Best has gone bankrupt.”
“I don’t care what anyone says, he’s the best.”
“Don Best is trying to hide his bankruptcy by changing them on Google. Sad!”
donbest still owes me $213 for a ticket I bought last year”

The Hilarious Tweets about Don Best!
We have all been there before, you are trying to watch a video on YouTube and the commercial comes up for some stupid BBQ festival that is coming near your neighborhood next summer, or they show you an advertisement of somebody’s blog post from their company website who has gone out of business because it can’t get any customers. It sucks when these things happen so I figured why not make this article hilarious by finding tweets where people talk about how pissed off they are with other companies? Here we go..Here are my favorite posts in no particular order!! #articletweetbest ..etc etc.. This hilarious tweet about Don Best is one of the funniest tweets I’ve seen in a while. Best has been described as “a guru, philosopher and controversial figure on Wall Street for more than 30 years.” The WSJ article describes him as an “awkward” investor who made his money by being contrary to mass sentiment and betting against consensus views. The tweet says: “@WSJOpinion whatever you do don’t buy @bestfunds just because he’s an asshole.” This tweet pokes fun at people that blindly follow others based purely on their personality type without understanding them or what they’re doing financially. With over 63k retweets this joke clearly resonates with many people too
