A bit of a technical challenge when discussing aerostructures. I could not find any reference to the word itself in the dictionary, so I had to look it up in the A-Z Index. It is a prefix that refers to an ancient Greek or Roman invention that had little to do with aerostructures. It comes from the word aerostas, which means “aerostat”.
The prefix aerostas comes from aerostatic and aerostatic is the root word in aerostatic. Aerostatic is the Greek word for air.
Aerostatic is the same root word used to describe aircraft. A good way to visualize aerostatic is like you have a balloon and you want to blow it out of the air.
So an aerostructure is basically just a balloon with a bunch of wires sticking out from it. I mean, you could blow out the middle of an airplane, but as with all things, there are limits.
Basically the idea of an aerostructure is that you push the ground underneath it so that the balloon can stay up. If it floats you have a new way to get around. It’s also made of something that’s hard to get at. It’s made of a metal and a plastic that are basically like a balloon with some wires. The balloon is the part of it that sticks out.
The idea that aerostructures are made of metal and plastic may seem a bit confusing to some people, but the reason they’re so difficult is because they only stay up when they’re floating. They don’t hold up to being pushed. So basically, the way to make an aerostructure is to create a very large balloon and then put a bunch of wires through it.
The easiest way to make a balloon isn’t too complicated. Just stick a bunch of wires in the balloon to make it look like a balloon. It’s a little hard to make a balloon that has a great view of the sky.
For another way to make it look like a balloon (and thus to make it float), you can make a balloon out of a bunch of sheets of plastic. The easiest way to make a balloon out of sheets of plastic is to cut two sheets of plastic. (Or you can cut one sheet of plastic and leave a gap in the bottom) Then stick the two sheets together like a big pillow and you have a balloon. It works great for balloons.

So the concept of aerostructures is that you can make a balloon out of a bunch of plastic sheets but that it will float. And you can stick two sheets of plastic together and it will float, like a balloon.
