I’ve been asked this question a lot too. I think it’s because this is such a fundamental thing for many of us to do. We have our opinions, our dreams, our opinions, our dreams, and so on. The problem is that the more we are asked to look in the mirror and tell ourselves that we are worthy of what we have, the more likely we are to fall into thinking and acting in the way that we think and act.
This is the classic “we all have something to lose” issue. Because we all have something that needs to go, we just don’t know what that something is. If we don’t know, can we be honest enough to admit we don’t know? If we can’t be, how do we know we aren’t? This is where building up meaning comes in.
Building up meaning is the process of learning to look in the mirror, saying to yourself, “I am worthy of this I am worthy of this I am worthy of this” and then going about doing the things necessary to earn that self-worth. In the film “The Blind Side”, it is the process of one character realizing that, “I can do this I can do this I can do this.
The most important idea we can apply is this, you don’t know if you are worthy until you know. The key word here is “until you know.” You have to look to see if you are deserving of the things you want, you have to know that you are worthy of what you are asking for. This is the most important idea that I got from the film.
When we make the decision to earn the things we want, we become much more aware than we are when we are not making those decisions. This idea is the reason I love movies so much. The way they make you aware what you deserve to be is by having you reflect on what you have done. It is the most important way to know.
A lot of the things that we want, we get. We get what we want and we get what we deserve. We earn our desire with hard work and dedication. In turn, we become more aware of our worth, and what we deserve.
I don’t think there is any other way to earn anything in life than with hard work, dedication, and the right amount of self-awareness. It’s not an act of will, it’s an act of intention. Hard work and dedication can make you feel good, but they can also make you feel achy, nauseous, and not a damn bit good feeling.
It’s like we’re all walking around a giant piece of cardboard with a bunch of strings attached to the corners. We can pull any string by touching the corners and pulling our fingers back. We can get anything we want and we can do it the way we want it.
It seems that everyone has their own version of this phrase. The term “build up” is thrown around a lot, but I have one that I’ve used to describe my own self-awareness. It’s quite simple, really. It means to “take one step at a time” and to “focus on one thing at a time.” I get a very positive feeling from this phrase when I take a step at a time.
In fact, it’s important to think about building up meaning and building up self-awareness, because it’s actually very hard. To build up meaning, you have to be able to accept that things are changing, that there are new challenges coming up, and that you should adapt how you live your life.
