In the Seven Deadly Sins anime, there is a lot of speculation about what will happen to Meliodas. Does he die? Does he live? Who can kill him? Unfortunately, there are no clear answers to these questions. The only thing we know for sure is that he doesn’t die in Season 2 Episode 24; which leaves many fans wondering if this means Meliodas dies in Season 3 or another season later on.
“Meliodas may not be dead as some people say because it says his fate has yet to be revealed.” “This could have been the end of Meliodas but instead we will get to see him in Season Three!”
“He may not die for good, he just might be dead in this season.” There are many questions about what happens next with Meliodas and his fate; however, at this point, there is no clear answer. All fans can do now is hope that their favorite character outlives Elizabeth’s curse!
There are no clear answers to these questions. The only thing we know for sure is that he doesn’t die in Season Two Episode Twenty Fourth; which leaves many fans wondering if this means Melodias dies next season or another later one. “Melidous may not be dead as some people claim because it says his fate has yet to be revealed.” “This could have been the end of Miltios but instead will get to see him again in Season Three!” “He may not be dead, but he doesn’t want Meliodas to die.
Is Meliodas already Dead?
“Meliodas is actually already dead in the seven deadly sins.” “He died back when Liz cursed him and now it’s just one of his illusions coming back from hell.”
It seems that there are many people who believe these rumors about what happens after Season Three: they say that because the anime has been canceled for this season or next, then it means all the characters will presumably die as well.
No matter if you think he lives or dies; we do know that our favorite character needs a break! Let us hope that someday soon (whether he’s alive or not) we’ll be able to see more of Meliodias on-screen again – preferably when he’s fully back to his old self.
In the anime, it is revealed in Season One that Gilthunder was cursed by Elizabeth and as a result, he dies. The curse affects all of those related to the Holy Knights – which would include Meliodas because they are both from Dana for! So yes, we can assume that this means that not only did Liz curse him but she also killed him. She either killed or will kill him (we’re still waiting for confirmation). It certainly seems like Liz curses people without remorse; so there’s no telling what will happen next with her father…or even if she has any intention of bringing back Meliodas at all.
“I went from being a regular Joe to the most powerful man alive, just because I found her.”
It’s hard for me not to feel sorry for Meliodas. He is so in love with Elizabeth that he doesn’t care about anything else, and if she dies then he will die too. It’s as simple as that. But it also seems like something we can understand or relate to: when you’re deeply invested in someone, they are your whole world – everything starts revolving around them, and without them, there would be no meaning left in life…or at least this is how I felt back before my ex-boyfriend died!
All of us want him alive again! Let’s hope our little hero gets his happy ending!
After Meliodas is awoken, we get to see that he does in fact die. His life force will be transferred from the demon Baalzephon who had possessed him and into Elizabeth’s body. This essentially means that if she dies then so too would Meliodas. The problem with this plan is that Elizabeth has shown zero interest in bringing back her lover at all. She says “I went from being a regular Joe to the most powerful man alive just because I found her.” It seems like their relationship was never really about love for either of them but more so about power or something else entirely. Without knowing what happens during future episodes it’s difficult to know how much longer Meliodas can last without his powers.
