So, yes, I have a friend that is a photographer. He says it’s the fun, the challenge, and the process that keeps him going. It’s not so much about the end product as it is about the journey itself. It’s about not giving up.
It’s one of those things that I think a lot of people get wrong, and that’s because they don’t fully grasp the concept. In short, its the process of learning how to be creative, using what you’ve learned to produce something that you enjoy. That’s not to say that it’s easy or fun. Its important that you enjoy yourself and are aware of the process, but it’s not all about the outcome. Its a matter of how you approach the idea.
The process, the journey. Thats what I think I’m trying to convey. And yes, the outcome is a game. It’s a game of risk. I love games, and I love games for a reason. Sure, you can sit in a room and create the damn thing, but if it doesn’t move you, don’t play it. Its too hard and you won’t learn anything.

I’m going to be honest with you, the idea of playing games for a couple of hours is a bit of a stretch for me. I just like to go to a game room at a friend’s house, sit beside a friend, and do nothing but play a game. But this doesn’t mean I’m stopping playing. In fact, I’m going to be playing for a while and then not playing for a while. Just like life, not playing for a while is like quitting.
Even after you quit, games are often designed to keep you playing. So you might play a game for two hours and then you might have another two hours to kill. Or you might think the game is good, but you might think its better than your current options. This is why I think games are good. There is no other game that will keep you playing for that long.
Another thing I found interesting is that in Deathloop, you play as a character who wakes up on a beach and has no memory of how he got there. Yet he is still in the game. You can play him as a party-animal, which does give you some freedom to make choices that other characters might find boring.
