I’m really excited about the matis tribe. This is a fun, colorful, and playful take on a classic story. I know I said the title is a little “weird”, but it’s really not. I was just saying it’s great fun to create original stories that are a little different than anything else, and then to play with them.
I mean, this is a game of sorts, so I can’t really say that it’s a new story. You can read a little bit about it in the previous blog entry, but I’m not going to go into too much detail here.
Matis Tribe is a game that puts you in the shoes of the matis tribe, a group of tribal warriors who are battling the evil empire of the Dark Lords. You are able to customize your character with skills and armor, and your story will revolve around how you defeat your foes. For example, if you choose to be a warrior, you will take on the role of a fighter and have to fight your way through a handful of levels, each of which has a different boss.
For the uninitiated, the matis tribe can be quite difficult. They’re not particularly good at melee combat, but they can be extremely good at stealth. A matis warrior, for example, can take out any enemy before he even knows that he’s on the menu. It takes a great deal of skill to master these warriors, and there are some missions that ask you to do things like avoid being spotted by enemies.
I have to say, I kind of love that little detail. In fact, the mission I did that week included some tricky fights that would have been easy for me to avoid, but were really hard for me to survive. The matis have a unique fighting style that has become more popular amongst players of the game, and I was surprised by how difficult the missions were for me. I think that it shows that the developers have really taken the time to make the game challenging but not impossible.
Matis are sort of like the Japanese samurai. They have a rigid system of court martial, and you have to learn the way they fight with swords by mastering a special weapon. There are a couple of things I wish I knew from the game but it’s not clear from the little we saw in our playthrough that it’s anything too tricky.
I don’t really think so. The game is very linear, but like I said, not as much of a grind as you might expect. I felt much more immersed in the game than in any of the other shooters I’ve played.
The story is set in a modern day country in Japan where people are still fighting, and its a bit slow going at first, so its likely that you will have a fair amount of time to kill. As for the gameplay, the way the game is set up is that you have to master a set of fighting abilities and go on missions where you have to kill the enemy’s companions, and they have to die.
This game is a bit of a grind, but then again, most FPS games are. It allows you to be a bit more strategic, and you have to think of the situations that you will have to face. This means making sure you aren’t wandering around killing people without being aware of what you are doing.
The game is very similar to the original game in that you can play it in a first person view, or third person. The only difference is that in the first person version you are only able to move back and forth in the game, you can’t see your enemies. It’s an interesting mechanic, but you can find it very boring.
