The first thing I have to say about the fact that the majority of our culture is monolithic is that it’s not a bad thing. Humans are pretty hard on themselves. We tend to do things that make us feel uncomfortable, and we tend to do these things for a certain reason, whether it be the desire to fit in, or to prove we are the ones with the most power.

A few years ago a large portion of our culture was actually very liberal. However, as the years went by, our culture became more conservative. Now, the majority of us are conservative.

Every change that is made comes from outside the group which is the only way that any real change is possible.

We may be seeing a monolithic culture which is the result of a group of people who were originally monolithic, but were forced to change.
