I am a cell biologist. I get what you are saying, but I also have a theory. We are what we eat. If you eat a lot of carbs, say a lot of grains, and you are not exercising, you will not be in a good shape mentally or physically. The more you exercise, the more you can burn off the carbs, and the more you can lose your bad mood.

We consume them up to our eyeballs every day, but then we don’t exercise. You and I eat carbs to burn off the calories, but the average American is only getting about five to six hundred calories a day.
