The Human Activity that uses the most water worldwide is agriculture. This is a huge impact and the only water use that doesn’t seem to add up, at least in terms of the overall number of barrels of water used per year per capita.
In the United States, agriculture is responsible for around 5% of the total water use per capita – around 50 million barrels of water a year. This is actually a pretty big difference. The same is true in the United Kingdom where agriculture accounts for around half of the total water use. In France, agriculture accounts for around a third.
The global water use is much worse than this, and this is why we need to look at the actual water use itself. While agriculture is responsible for a lot of water use, it is not a primary cause of water use overall for the reasons stated in this infographic. The United States and the United Kingdom have very high per capita water use per capita, and these are relatively low in the European Union.
The problem is that in Europe the largest amount of water consumption is from agriculture, followed by industry (which includes transport), construction, and water use for domestic use. In the United States, per capita water consumption is relatively high, with agriculture at the top. However, when you look at per capita water consumption for the United States versus the European Union, the difference is far smaller.
The United States has a smaller population, but its economy is smaller, so the difference is less drastic. So water consumption is certainly not a big problem. The problem is that the European Union has a larger population, so the difference is larger.
The big difference is that the United States has far more people who work in agriculture. That means agriculture consumes more water than any other human activity. This is a good point. Agriculture can also be a huge problem for cities because in the summer, when agriculture accounts for the majority of water use, many cities are full of water-starved residents who have nowhere to go because their city is too water-starved.
There are a couple ways to think about this. One is that agriculture can be a good thing for an area. One-third of the world’s people live in the United States, and most are the agricultural workers that the rest of the world needs. The problem is that agriculture cannot be a good thing for every city in the world.
The other way to think about this is that it’s the water for agriculture that is at stake. Most of the world’s water is used for agriculture. The issue is that agriculture uses the majority of the world’s water.
The problem is that agriculture can be a good thing for a city if it can’t support the population. We can’t expect that all of the city’s residents will be good farmers, but we can expect that most will be. The issue is that the city has a population of a few million people, and the city is getting water from the same water source as the rest of the world.
The solution is to take a small city and turn it into a large agriculture city. Take the city’s water source and put it in the same bucket as the rest of the world. The rest of the world will come to take this city’s water. The city will grow, and grow. Eventually, the city will be able to support the entire world population.
